Orchestral Maneuvers In The Dark (OMD) celebrará su 40º aniversario con un box set que repasará toda su carrera. Además, la banda británica acaba de embarcarse en una gira por los Estados Unidos que se extenderá hasta fines de septiembre.

El box set, titulado “Souvenir”, estará disponible el 4 de octubre en una variedad de formatos: como LP triple, CD doble o como un set digital de 92 canciones. Además de compilar todos los singles de la banda, “Souvenir” contará con una nueva canción llamada “Don’t Go”.

Escrita y producida por Paul Humphreys y Andy McCluskey, y grabada en los estudios Bleepworks de Londres, “Don’t Go” combina la melancolía de los estribillos de McCluskey con la melodía de sintetizadores de Humphreys, creando una canción al mejor estilo clásico de OMD

Por estos días, OMD se encuentra de gira por los Estados Unidos con The B-52s.
